About Wide Eye

Wide Eye is an independent artist-run space in Frogtown, Los Angeles dedicated to contemporary ceramics, illustration, artist publishing, and experimental objects.

Our program centers emerging and underrepresented voices, with a particular interest in artists working across disciplines and challenging the boundaries between functional objects, sculpture, illustration, and contemporary art.

Wide Eye is both a place to encounter new work and a place to participate in making it. Through exhibitions, educational programming, publishing, and community events, we aim to support artists while building a curious, welcoming community around contemporary creative practice in Los Angeles.
